vdieo scrambled?

I am building my new system and I have just bought the ASUS a7v33 mb with all of the options. I have all of my cd-roms, sound, and video hooked up. When I boot it up for the first time the picture is all scrambled on the monitor as I try and get into the bios. I have built a few systems before and have never got this problem. The video card I am using is a Visiontech Geforce2 GTS 64ddr. Any suggestions? I tried different monitors.
