Hi All,

This is my first post here , I hope its in the right place as I couldn't find a category specifically for licensing :).

Microsoft state that in order for thin clients to be licensed correctly that will be accessing the virtual infrastructure , a VDA ( Virtual desktop Access ) licence is required for each device ( thin client ) accessing virtual machines.

In this scenario , if I have 10 thin clients that access 10 virtual machines that that means ten VDA licenses . Do I also need to licence the Windows desktop OS on the virtual machines separately , or does a VDA licence cover that too ?

I've gone through documents on the MS website but no joy.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Rucci.
