VC's having a hands-on role in getting employees on board their client companies

I was just looking at the kpcb site, and ione of the links leads to employment opportunities in all the client companies they have invested(?) in.

is this a common VC role, where they help in recruitment in their client companies.

i've never experienced it, but VCs do like to butt in to mgmt.

yes

stealth companies are companies whose details are kept secret for competitive purposes... although that practice seems to be declining... people are finding that it isn't that beneficial to be stealth.
