hi guys,

a not-so-computer-literate friend has asked me to put his wedding video (taken with a videocam on vhs) on a mpeg/vcd. what would i need to do this and ensure that the transfer is done with minimum quality loss?

would any tv-video card work (like the 3 just reviewed in anandtech)? what kind of software would i need on win98 to do this? thanks!!
