Vcore Question:

my board supports up to 8 USB devices and currently i have six used. So my question is this:

Does USB devices (HD, DV, PDA Sync, Mouse, etc.) causes the motherboard to up its voltage?
It doesn't make sense to me that I have 1.70 Vcore set in BIOS while actual Vcore shown in Asus Probe is 1.776.
And it also doesn't make sense to me that why i need 1.70 Vcore to OC a 2.4C to 3.0. So my theory is that all my USB device is sucking my power. Is my theory right?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if USB will suck up power from the Vcore but Asus motherboards overvolt quite a bit. I have an A7N8X and it overvolts by about .05-.08.
