I got my Athlon 64 3000+ running at 2.5 Ghz now it seemed to be running fine with 1.55v vcore I was just wondering at full load whether the comp would shut off or something. Anyone who has increased it past 2.4 Ghz can you all tell me what your vcore is at..

thanks

every cpu is different, try running prime95 to see if it's stable.

if prime95 crashes then you need more volts.

thats a great oc, 2.5ghz at 1.55vcore isnt bad at all for a 3000+. run prime overnight and if it passes your one lucky guy 😀 if it doesnt raise the vcore or lower your multi 😛

ok so ran prime and left the comp when I came back the comp had restarted that was about 1:30 I had put it at about 12 somethin...so I raised the voltage to 1.575 now interestingly in the asus probe program it's saying the vcore is around 1.55. Could this mean that it wasn't running at 1.55 before and it is now?? From 1:40 till now it has been running in the background, the comp hasn't restarted and it seems to be running fine.. I'm postin a screenshot for u all to see is this right?

well that I didn't know...anyone else know about this I got the Asus K8N-E Deluxe with the nforce 3 250GB chipset...does this one monitor it wrong?

ok update i have been running prime95 from about 1:40 today and it's 8:08 now and the computer has been running stably so I'm guessing I got lucky and I got a decent chip..I'm thinking of taking it up some more but I might need some better ram
