I want to put all my VCDs on DVD (I have the Pioneer A05 DVD-R). I checked out VCDHelp.com and they have a large How-To on it. It works, but it takes a long time to convert the 44KHz to 49KHz audio. You gotta extract the audio, then convert it, then put it back in. I have like 100+ .MPG files that I don't feel like doing this to all of them.

Is there a program that will convert the audio "On the Fly" while burning them to DVD, OR, that will convert the audio without extracting it first?

In other words..... what's an easier way of putting VCDs on DVD?

Any DVD-authoring program. Except it will likely have to re-encode the video, too. And that's not very "real-time"...

you might want to look through doom9's forums, see if anyone is using DVD2SVCD backwards...

You're burning them as VCD to a DVD-R? Why do you want to resample the audio? It should play fine at 44KHz.
