VCD/SVCD play on playstation 2

damn, that sucks, i wanted to borrow some of my friend's dvds and make 'back-ups' of them in vcd/svcd format, but if it can't play it on ps2 (my current dvd player), then i'd just have to use my video card to output video =/

well your pretty lame if you want to degrade dvds to svcd quality. let alone the piracy ..

good god, just borrow the dvds and watch them on your ps2 in their full glory as much as you want then return them. wasting time in the name of greed.

lot of quality is lost, true. however, i have a crappy tv so it doesn't really show. as far as the piracy goes...*shrug*
