Make sure that everything is securely fastened and that your BIOS supports the cpu you're trying to use.

I did that. my mobo supports 700 But I don't know if it supports a flipchip is there a difference?

no it doesn't power up. I plug in the cord and press reset or power button and nothing. Nothing happens. Memory is not the problem because it is a rambus type motherboard, and I am using the rambus ram that Intel gave me. Only thing I can see is the problem is I am using a flipchip with a slotket (abit) So does this board not like flipchip and only use slot 1?
