This new one does look quite promising though! Seems to be getting good reviews all over. And we will get it starting with the Pontiac G8 sometime next year.

I'd take a G8 if I could mod it to look like the Aussie one. Putting it in a Pontiac skin just makes it look so '90s.

I think the price of the 361HP version starts at 29K US dollars. It will probably be around ~35K fully loaded. That's not bad. It also isn't the 414HP version that they are getting over in England...but maybe we'll get that with the GXP version that will likely come out.

That's a 6.0 also. The 361hp version has cylinder deactivation that the LS2 doesn't have. The Pontiac G8 GXP may get something similar to the 430hp LS3 that's in the Corvette now and also has the cylinder deactivation system.
