Had they not killed the Saturn brand, this would have made a logical successor to the Saturn version of the Astra.
 
It is really nice looking. I wouldn't say it has no chance of making the US, just not very good. Buick has basically taken over for Saturn as the rebadged Euro brand. Not that I'm complaining.

The fear is that it will come in sedan form instead of hatchback ala the Buick excelle from China (seems the Chinese have a similar penchant for sedans like the US). Who knows...maybe a hot version will come in hatch body style.
 
I'm assuming so. I'm sure we'll never see it in the US...but I really like the design aesthetic overall. I think Opel has been doing a great job with recent cars.

As far as I am aware the new three door astra should be announced/unveiled at the Paris motor show... so :colbert:
