The one being shown on TV now is called "Transformers:Robots in Disguise" and it premiered on Japanese TV under the title CAR ROBOTS. Check out BWTF site maintained by Benson Yee

Beast wars was 100% better then this one.

Heck even Battle for the spark was better then this one and I thought Battle sucked.

WE NEED THE ORIGINAL BACK ON TV!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey... while I'm a die hard fan for the old school series... expecially the movie.... you have to admit that the BW were by far the best written episodes to date...

Hmmm I tend to agree too. A couple of BeastWars episodes actually had some real drama to them. For example, like the episode where Dinobot(I think that was his name...been so long...) dies...that was a really good episode.

But I really hate this new japaense variant one they are showing on Fox. It's horrible!

I saw that episode. I couldn't beleive how good it was. Almost moving, and from a Saturday morning 'toon.

another thing that is not noticed... but is pretty important... there were facial expressions on the BW series.

you had to admit... the BW seies had some moments that no other series could match... like that one "wild west" snapshot at the end of some season... that picture was seriously pimp...
