Various Gforce Brands Good/Bad?

I'm looking into purchasing a gforce 3 and I was wondering if Visiontek was any good.

On another note are all gforce 3 cards basically the same, because I don't really mind the 1-5 fps difference between some of them. Some of the gforce 3 cards can be gotten for around 320 at auction sites.

SO I was wondering would all gforce 3's be about the same?

I'm coming from a 3dfx Banshee, so of course I won't notice the 1-5fps difference. 🙂
 
Anything but MSI. MSI's don't have RAMSINKS so that could be a problem. I know it is when Anandtech was testing it... the new ones have them but I wouldn't risk them anyway.
 
about 1000 msi's shipped without heatsinks on ram. just make sure you get the heatsinks, and your golden. anandtechs second review of the card was pretty favorable.
 
I know about MSI, but say I have the opportunity of getting a Visiontek for about 315 at an auction, vs paying 360 for an MSI at newegg.

Would those still perform well or are they all basically the same reference boards.
 
The nice thing about the MSI is that it has VIVO standard whereas I don't think the Visiontek even has that as an option. Just thought I'd point that out.
