I remember Thrill Kill. My friends and I got a copy, and I think I still have it. It was an OK game; Mortal Kombat was way more fun, though the CGI videos were pretty cool.

While that article is over a year old, I came across this video 2 months ago and enjoyed it.

I had both the beta version of this game and then eventually the final unreleased version was leaked. And overall the game just was not a good game. Once you got over the gore and over the top stuff, it was just not a good game gameplay wise. I was super into fighters at that time too. The eventual Def Jam Vendetta games that kind of came out due to this were much better games.
