Hi, I am cracking RC5, and looking at my history, there are some extreme variations in my rate. One day I did 1,500 and the next I will do like 780. I dont understand this because I was on vacation during this time and there wasnt anything else running on my computer.

Hi DiamondFire13, Are you referring to local log files or to on-line stats? It is possible that you have "fetch-workunit-threshold=" set to about 750, but you computer is doing 1,000+ per day. So, one day it will fetch/fulsh twice in a day while the next day it may only do it once. Thus it would be reporting a fluctuation, but actually it is very consistent.
