Just received 3 ventec stealths I ordered a few days ago.... I went to install them on the side panel of my case and the screws that came with them don't fit through the fan holes or even in my case holes. The hell? They give you the fan but with extra large screws that don't even fit? I don't get it. It's not just one of them, it's all of them. Whoever has them... is this normal? I don't have screws that fit either.... :disgust:
 
Fan screws are supposed to be a little larger than the hole they are filling in the fan. As for your case, all cases are different. Just screw them in....there will be tension, but thats the way its suppose to be.
 
also they are a bit larger because they are self tapping...meaning as you screw them in they will seat themselves!!
 
yup, notice the fan holes have no screw threads. the screw is supposed to bite right into the soft plastic. u weak wristed😉
 
didn't want to force anything, first 3 fans manually installed in my case 😀
I'll try when I get home from class
