I dropped a Vantec in in the second slot from my BFG 6800gt, temps on the video card dropped a bit, but nothing major. So I took the blank plate off the 3rd pci slot on the case ( directly below the Vantec ). It didn't do much more to lower my video card anymore, but now the entire case now runs cooler. Definately sucks cool air in from the back now.

Case is a Praetorian with 2 80mm up front, one in the top, and one in the back. I replaced the 4 stock fans with some 36 cfm Sunon fans for a little more push.
I love the case, only issue I have is the metal screens on the case don't allow for max airflow. They originally came with filters as well. They came out the first day.
I had an Acer full tower before and I liked the way the front edge on the bottom of the case was notched to allow air to be sucked in from under the front cover. It worked well so I took the dremmel and etched a 3 inch by 1/2 inch notch in the bottom front of my Praetorian. You can't see the cut once the front cover is on, but airflow thru my front fans has increased quite a bit.

After these 2 simple mods my case temp has dropped by a good 5 degrees, which seems to aid in cooling my SLK-948u that much more.

For a month now I have been trying to decide between the Praetorian and the Stacker which is about 56% more in cost.

I like the style and looks of the praetorian but was concerned about air flow with the 80mm fans. I just searched Praetorian and found your note. It tends to support my concerns. Since I do not plan on drilling holes in my case, I guess I should look more towards the Stacker.

I will be building either a 939 system or an overclocked 754 setup, along with the 6800gt and two sata harddrives, and two dvd devices.

Thanks for you information. I am still trying to decide, but your information does push me more to the stacker. The entire front face plate of the stacker is an air intake vent and includes a 120mm intake fan over the harddrives. In addition, it has a 120mm out the back and an 80mm out the front. It has room for eleven fans, not counting the 300mm fan that can be added to blow over the entire motherboard.

I bought the Praetorian. Like the case, but when installing Asus A8V Deluxe, the rear chassis fan wire was about 1 inch too short, so it didn't reach the chassis fan mb connector (clear across the case). Currently looking for a replacement fan...

As for looks, I bought the Lian Li floppy bezel. Of course, it was about 1/4 inch too wide on either side, but I was able to bend the "wings" outward so they sit flush against the front case cover.
