Vantec NXP-305 fan/light controller

Has anyone here used a Vantec NXP-305 fan / light controller in combination with a Tt Tsunami case?

I just want to make sure the knobs will not interfere with closing the case door.

Assuming it won't fit, anbody know of any other fan/light controller combo? This Vantec is the only one I'm aware of. It could be 3-1/2 or 5-1/4, doesnt matter.

OK, maybe my question was too specific.

Let me rephrase it: Has anyone had any luck installing a component with knobs in a 3.5" bay on their Tsunami?

My Vantec Nexus 3.5" Fan Controller works perfectly with my Tsunami. Not sure about 5.25" though.

Heh, for lack of any information, I just went ahead and bought the NXP-305 at Fry's. I just barely finished installing it a few minutes ago and indeed you are right. It fits the Tsunami like a glove. FINALLY this beast is silent. I spun both 120mm case fans down to 75% RPMs and by god I can barely hear a thing!

This is a great day because the fans were really starting to get on my nerves. Like someone else said in an article on fans, "It's not always the level of noise a fan creates that can be annoying, but the "quality" of noise that they make." they were not so loud but the pitch of whine they made was horrible. Anyhow, problem solved.

The real bonus here was the included light controller on the NXP-305. I was able to ditch both of my inverters which removed a huge clusterfunk of wiring and now I can kill the lights without opening the case to boot.

Happy camper here.......what could make this day any better? Hmmmmm.....maybe that 200Gb Seagate I scored at Fry's for $74.99 after MIR!!! It's time to grab a beer and celerbrate!
