Vantec Nexus NXP-201 Fan controller IN STOCK NOW!

Just in time for Christmas, mine has been shipped(pre ordered it two weeks ago). One of the nicest Fan controllers I have seen out there at a nice price.

I go to svc, I add the black one to my cart and, though the description says *In stock now*, checkout says the black is not in-stock ("No" filled in that column), but the silver one, that comes up as "Yes". Just an fyi. I'm going to personally sit on my hands, I've been hearing too many bad things about svc lately.

Can't blame you, I got a shipping confirmation yesterday. Hopefully all is well. I have ordered from the approx 4 times with no problems.

I've ordered twice from SVC with no problems, hope all goes well though.

I think pc-mods also has them in stock.

Well, I don't see it on pcmods's website. So far, SVC is the only place I've seen with it for $30. Maybe after xmas.

These look like really nice units, anyone know if you can turn the fans off completely with these or just from low to high?

Toro

Toro, no you cannot turn the fans completely off with it. You can adjust the fan anywhere between 7v and 12v though. Roughly 58 % of the maximum rpm.

Thanks bzeti,

LyNx01, I did read a review today that said it does clear the door on the antec cases,I'll try to find you the link later.

Toro🙂

I heard it whines if you put the voltages on too low. Or something like that. That is bad, bad. Isn't the whole point of lower voltage to reduce noise?

Yeah, the virtual-hideout review that I posted the link to said there was a slight noise when you have it on the lowest setting. But he said he had to put his ear up to it and he could barely hear it. But even with the fans at low setting I seriously doubt you'll be able to hear it. But I guess we gotta wait and see (err, listen) though huh.

Xoxide.com has them too I think for about $37 bucks.

No no, the rheobus at xoxide is old school. This is the vantec Nexus PWM style control. So, as far as I can tell, svc is the only one who advertise this unit for the $30 estimated price.

these look phat...

too bad I have a PCmods one already.

rheo's rock i cannot imagine life w/o one😀 (have a 131cfm delta😉 )
