Vantec NexStar 3 vs CX

Besides the shape and $5, is there any difference between the Vantec NexStar 3 and the NexStar CX (both with USB 2.0 & eATA)? I have a NexStar 3 already, and I like it, but if I can save $5 on the next one...

I own a NexStar CX and it's fine for what I use it for (backup). The enclosure is aluminium and quite solid. I've had 2TB Samsung F4 and Hitachi drives in it... using eSATA without issue.

I don't see much difference in specs other than cosmetic. I have three Vantec NexStar 3's, all on eSATA.I would replace with CX if it becomes necessary. That probably won't happen.

OK, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. The 3 comes in blue, so that's something.
