Vantec Iceberg Chipset Cooler?

Anyone try these? They look great, but I'm more interested in how well they perform. I don't really trust the fans on most of the MB's out there, so I'm intending to replace whatever comes stock.

Fans aren't really needed anyway. A good passive heatsink is plenty in most any situation. Just look into the Zalman NB cooler. It will be silent and you won't notice any difference.

^ I thought about that one - but everyone said it was a hassle and a half to install.

I doubt it is any harder than a new fan. One of the biggest troubles with replacing the NB cooler will be removing the old one if it is epoxied on.

I have read that a lot of people are having problems mounting the Zalman if your CPU heat sink is lrge, especially the Thermalrigth SLK's.
