Vantac PCI Fan Card

I have it and it is LOUD!!!!!!!. It made my DELL 4700 sound like it was gonna take off into outer space or somethin. I took it out and it sits in my closet.

IT DID HELP MY FULL LOAD 6600GT TEMPS BY 5c BUT ITS TOO FRICKEN LOUD
 
Aside from providing some air movement in the space below your vid card (in a tower), it does absolutely nothing. Definitely not worth $18 + sh.

MIGHT help with drawing in air if used in a horizontal desktop case though, if there are vents on the left side. Still, not worth $18 + sh IMHO.
 
The fan levels are adjustable... so it was too loud even at the lowest setting? (labeld as 25db... which should be very quiet)
 
i had this one before in a sony case that had poor ventilation. cheap enuff and i had no problem with the fit and quality.

it was loudish but i had a fan controller and it reduced temps 8-9c.
