Has anyone bought whole Vanilla Beans online? If so, where did you buy them and did you like the quality of the beans?
 
no, but to be honest, i am sure they are better than almost any you could find at most "regular" stores.
I just did a google search for it and tons popped up. I know there are different kinds throughout the world that have different flavors and strengths of scent and taste.
Alton Brown had a good show about the different kinds a while ago. If you look on foodnetwork.com you could find the info i am sure!

My wife and I have bought spices from them for a couple years, they are absolutely fantastic. You can buy in the online store, grab a catalog or go in person if you're near one of their stores...the smells going into a store are just incredible, I'd reccomend it sometime!
