vanilla 6800GT?

I have an XFX Geforce 6800GT and i can only achieve an OC of 380+/1.05 with the nvidia "detect optimal frequency" test. I have AGP voltage set at 1.55. I don't know if this is enough. I am concerned about AGP 8x cards being only 0.8v and don't want to burn it up. does elevating the voltage also elevate the 0.8v setting? HELP!!!

As with all OCing, YMMV.

I have a XFX GT too, it autodetected 404/1.1. You do realize the RAM on these things is likely 2ns?

Does that coolbits thing take the available power current into account? I am getting a similar autodetect with a BFG one (newer model) and am wondering whether it's due to the card or my somewhat weak power supply.

is there a better way to OC the card? I am using the coolbits thing. what's the memory for the 6800 U is it better than 2ns?

Anyone know something about this? This will be a factor in whether I get a new PSU; I have been holding off on this purchase because I don't know if it will help any with overclocking, although it will allow me reconnect the stuff I removed to get the card working stably.
