So I'm trying to decide on what option to go with to start investing.

Does anyone know much about Vanguards Retirement Funds? Them seem good in theory but the fact that they seem to emphasize it's good for the not so saavy investor has me thinking I can do better?

Anyone start one up?

Weird. So these things have specific linespans or something? Like, if you are 40 years away they probably have more aggressive and dynamic investments, and only 10 years way more reliable and dividend heavy?

Me personally - I think it's all a crapshoot. These overmanaged funds probably won't yield any better than the other funds that just spread things around like a plain old fund invested in an index.

But that's just me.

Fidelity does the same thing too...
