I am planning a bachelor party with a friend and the groom wants to go to Vancouver, BC. I have been there once and loved the atmosphere however I don't remember what the nightlife was like or where we went.

Can someone recommend some good places to go (more bar scene than club scene) and some fun things to do?

Googling for it just turns up pop-up happy club sites...

 

Depends on your taste. The Number Five Orange is a popular strip joint, and dozens more other bars & clubs downtown/Yaletown.

The Grey Cup is on Nov 27, and THQ World Supercross GP is on Dec 10.

What are the popular nightlife areas/districts? Is Granville St. pretty good?

Our group will consist of rowdy, drunken mid-20's guys reliving their college years.
