actually theres a lot of weird names for facial hair that im unaware of... id like to know what mine is, instead of saying calling it "my goatee thingy" which not only sounds dumb, but sounds dumb. 😀

Goatee - Hair is only on the chin. If sideburns exist, they do not connect to the goatee. Otherwise, it's a beard.
Van *** - Hair is on the chin and upper lip. Sideburns do not connect.
Mustache - Hair on the upper lip.
Beard - Hair all the f*ck over your face.
Grizzly Adams - A beard, but so long that birds roost in it.

Technically, yeah.

But when I get un-lazy and disconnect the sideburns, that's a vandyke.

1-inch of hair on the sides of the face is all that separates a vandyke from a beard. ;-)
