Van Halen is teh shyt.

In my opinion no rock group can touch Eddie on guitar and DLR with vocals in that era, not Aerosmith, Metalica, GnR, I could go on.. but VH in their prime simply rocked and will always be my favorite band. So many great songs, solos, concerts.. and I never get tired of their music, ever. Sammy had a couple good hits with them but obviously he was never going to be as good as DLR was with them.

Agreed that DLR era VH was great music, but so was Toys in the Attic era Aerosmith.

:music: blood fills the alleys of my daddy's baby grand, ain't seen the daylight since I started this band . . . :music:

It's a little bit apples and oranges since Aerosmith was blues-rock, VH was metal-rock. Both rocked, each in their own style.
