*Spoilers*

Sure the C4 in the sarcophagus was a surprise, but I also looked up the other possible endings and they're all basically the same. Kinda disappointing. ie: For the Anarchs ending I was expecting something involving Nines beyond the initial briefing.

In any case, it was an awesome game getting there, so I guess I'm nitpicking. It's just that for such an epic game I expected a more epic ending.

If you go the Kuei Jin route? That's an awesome ending.

But yeah, Troika was basicly closed by that point in the game's development so the endings ended up being one giant combat grind. A real let down after the gold in the earlier game.

Black Isle staffers haven't done a great ending since Fallout. KOTOR2, VTMB, NWN2, all had underwhelming endings.

Once you get over the surprise, you may latter appreciate the fact that it's not the generic overdone stereotypical ending that every game has. I thought it was clever, original, and funny.

Wait, what? Black Isle didn't develop VTMB, Troika did, if I'm not mistaken...
Edit: n/m forgot Troika stemmed from Black isle

Santa Monica was definitely the coolest part of the game, your quests more object rather than combat based. The balance slowly shifted until the end of the game, when you just ran around for a while and killed stuff.

I hated this game. I loved the first, and i'd probably still play it. But Bloodlines was an utter disappointment and it did a great dishonor to the first game.

I liked the C4 ending.I feel i got what I deserved. This is still my favorite single player PC game of the decade.

Sad that genius games still get marred by this process of getting the rug yanked out from under the dev.

Same, it may not have been a terribly long cutscene, but it left me with a smile on my face :). Great game overall - and I wouldn't have played it if I hadn't gotten it for free .
