I just uninstalled the game.
I played two characters up the the ocean house part. I decided I didnt like my first character so I went with a different one. Replaying thru I find you have to play the game exactly the same way. You must complete such and such task before you can do such and such thing. There is no multiple ways to complete a quest. The story is perfectly linear. Even trying to pick different dialogue options the game works you into playing the exact same way each time. Anyone want to buy my copy for shipping + 15$ let me know

I'll wait until after it's been thoroughly patched. From what I've seen, there are at least 2 game killing bugs. You can use a console command to jump one of them, but that should never happen in a retail product. The numerous spelling errors are generally indicative of the state of QA for this game. Inactivision strikes again.

Wasn't this supposed to be one of the upcoming SM3 games? Or is that a different Vampire?

We knew that nvidia list was bullshit.

It's called common sense.
Game developers are not going to waste too much time and money on features only a miniscule percentage of potential buyers can use.
Anyone have a dunce cap handy for Vernor? Mine are all being used up by various forum members.
I'll have to swing by "Boneheads R Us" and pick up a few dozen more as they are going like hotcakes in here. 😉

As opposed to content-free ad hominem, obviously.
The irony is rich.

I cannot find anything saying that this game was built on SM3. There doesn't seem to be anything extraordinary in the graphics dept except for peoples eyes. The eyes are very life-like and glisten when
a light source hits them as real eyes are shiny. The other thing I noticed was the actual physics of the charectars when they walk, dance, mannerisms, very realistic. I guess that would be the source engine and little to do with SM3. In other words, the world has very real people walking and talking in it, not a bunch of stiff robots walking about. I am finding that my framerate falls well below 30 when I'm on the streets and many people are walking around. I need to try this on my GT and see how this improves with the extra memory.

Troika has a lack of QA, not Activision. Got to give credit when credit is due though, and Bloodlines delivers. There are a lot of spelling errors I've noticed, but the voices are top notch, and I won't let a misspelling like 'broring' ruin my enjoyment of a good vampire game.
I never really got into Redemption, the previous Vampire game. I may pick it up after playing Bloodlines though. 🙂

[So tell me. What does SM2 look like? Is it one thing I have to look out for? Or a thousand, to let me know that something is or is not SM2/3... I really wish you F**king people would go away.

Dont.. the bugs are K I L L E R. It was difficult to play especially after the first half. My game crashed at least 25 times within what should have been a ten hour period of gameplay. The game was decent but I would never have subjected myself to all that if I had known before hand how bad the bugs would be.
