Looks like a lot of good stuff there too. Its good to see some community support for this game, I really enjoyed Bloodlines. Fvcking Activision.

Heh, I think that Redemption patch is about the largest patch I have ever seen. 145MB, wow, just 'wow'.

I bought one of the taiwan versions from a trader here (didn't know it was an import) and I can't seem to patch the game with any of the official patches. Suckage.

Does that unofficial patch work? You just extract it into the Vampire directory and over write the files, according to the readme. I would think it would work, provided your version's language is actually in English.

So play it again. You've got several clans to choose from, and the play experience is very different.

I beat the game as female Ventrue and Toreador, had the most fun as the Toreador. Then I got caught up in some other stuff, and just came back. I was playing as a Gangrel, but its making all the combat way too easy and they lack the dialogue options of a toreador. So I created a female Tremere instead, and I'll play though as a mage, see how that works.

I would like to see a mod campaign with a new story/city/etc. The World of Darkness is a very intriguing game setting.

and before someone says "play it again", I rarely play games a second time through seeing that I've got so many other games to catch up on. Bloodlines was pretty good, but the endgame was crap. I dont want to have to play all the way up till then and just get dissapointed again.

There is an update.

I finished the game recently and personally I did not find the end game to be crap. The end of the mid game was repetitive but the beginning and end were a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the game - its too bad that it was released in such a bad state and that the team was dissolved too early. I hope to see more games similiar to it but I doubt we will.

OT I look forward to The Witcher.
