Vampire Bloodline - The ending

Ack! The ending took me buy surprise. I guess it is a good thing I made the right decision 🙂

There are several endings... Now reload and see the others! (Unless you are lazy, then you just need to watch the YouTube videos).

Some of the endings are pretty out there...and pretty hard to get as well. Generally the endings that wouldn't make sense for the vampire to choose are the endings that are the hardest to get. (for instance, allying with the Chinese vampires)

Ack. But I had the perfect ending. Should I really spoil it by finding another ending? Hum... Hum.... isn't ignorance bliss ?

You mean because you didn't open the sarcophagus? There are at least four endings where you can do that, but they?re all different.

I think the best ending is where you ally yourself with the Regent.

They aren't "Vampires/Kindred". They are basically spirits/demons who feed off the "spiritual life essence" of normal humans. They share no common traits with Vampires at all and they have a adversarial relationship with Vampires because they both share the same prey species. In fact it's mentioned several times by the female Kuejin leader that they have no relation or kinship to the "Kindred of the west" at all. Thus there is no surprise as to what happens to you in the end.

I think it was surprising because all that "honor" and "you are a great warrior" crap they were spouting went out the window.

Well that's what you get for believing a undead demon spirit who has been possessing a human body for hundreds of years. 😛

That was the ending I first did. I played a Tremere so going with the Tremere's Regent's ending seemed the best course. Although I did go back and play them all.

I think there were only 2 ending were you open the sarcophagus, then 2 were it's opened after you leave, and of course the 2 were no one opens it.

The Kuei-jin ending isn't as bad as it seems. After all Vampires don't drown.

Oh sure, that's even better, stuck in watery tomb for who knows how long until blood frenzy drives you mad 😛

No problem for me, I was already a malkavian.

I saw the sarcophagus get opened but i still wondered what was originally in it before Jack replaced it with his "surprise".
So I never really felt completely satisfied with the ending.
Still loved the game though.

Man, I can't believe it's been over 4 years since I last played it. I played as a Malkavian or whatever the retards were called.

I completely forgot what the ending was. There was some big guy/boss, then you got to the pretty boy. After that, it's blank for me.

Yeah, exactly the same here. Did we choose an ending? I don't remember. What were the different endings?

If you chose an ending where it was opened the very last scene is Jack sitting beside the mummified remains that were originally in the sarcophagus.

I thought the endings were very well acted, especially the part with LaCroix acting like a bitch. Most satisfying game character to kill ever.

So just wondering...
In the final tower, you fight two bosses, one of whom appears to be the prince in body armor. You kill him there (he doesn't just escape), yet he still shows up in the end cut scene. Always thought that was a little weird.

It's a soldier who's possessed by the Prince.

Oh, didn't realize that. Thought he had the prince's face and assumed he was the Prince all suited up in body armor. The game didn't make that very clear!

Also, the soldier didn't die like a human, he vaporized. Though, all enemies in this game might vaporize.
I don't think any of the Malkavian mind tricks worked either...but maybe they did.
