A few interesting bits.

Out of 699402 users:

Only 1 user of the entire survey has more than 2GB of RAM.
1 user has a "virtual" CPU.
4 users actually tried to run Steam with less than 32MB RAM.
There are as many Radeon 9000s as there are X800XTs.

interesting around 47% are using amd processors. i thought amd had at top 15% marketshare.

edit: wtf is a CentaurHauls or INTERWEBntel cpu vendor?

15% is probably overall. You have to count the millions of computers in schools and business that use Intel. On home computers where most of the games are played AMD is much closer to 50%.

Also interesting that apparently 5 people were using Transmeta CPUs. The video card breakdown is pretty interesting too.
