Right now i'm running 2X256MB Kingston Valueram at 2.5-2-3-6 with 2.4C.

I've been thinking of getting up to the 1GB area and looking at the memory prices, 4 brands have valueram in the same price area.

Corsair Value Select PC3200 CAS3

Kingmax PC3200 CAS3

Kingston Valueram PC3200 CAS3

OCZ PC3200 Value Series CAS 2.5

My Kingston was able to do DDR446 at 2.6V w/ CAS2.5....

I just don't know which one will give me better timing or moderate OC capacity...

Any input would be appreciated!

Muskin's green line is solid stuff, but I dont think it does too hot with overclocking. (probably not as aggressive as you'd want anyway).

Honestly I dont think any of the value memory will really overclock that well. Not with aggresive timings at least.

Yah, I understand the fact that they won't OC that well.

I guess what i'm looking for is valueram that can do better than they're rated, whether it is in terms of timing or speed.

I'd like to OC my 2.4C with 1:1 ratio instead of the 5:4.
I guess it will be limited, but since i'm getting new ram for the system. I might as well pick the right ones now since these are cheap. I'm just trying to hold off till end of next yr or so before I consider a new build.

what's the timing at that speed?

I can also get this one too for a few bucks more than the ones listed...
