Value RAM vs LL RAM = no difference for A64?

I remember reading here on the forums someone did a comparision of value ram versus low-latency(LL) ram for A64 and he reported that the difference was not substantial enough to warrent LL RAM. If I take what he says to be true, any kind of value ram should do fine correct? I'm thinking of Corsair value ram 2x512. any other brands I should think of?
