Okay, I get tired of giving my wife the typical things... Jewelry, flowers, card, maybe clothes or something else. Granted, she likes that stuff and isn't picky but I"m always looking for new and innovative things I can do.

I know a couple of years ago I had what I believed was a good idea and something unique. I am quite partial to the things that people hand make. I think they have sentimental value you can't get with a credit card. I basically built a picture frame out of 1x4's. I did all the sanding and things and made a nice little design in it. Then I went and got extra picture prints of her and I on photo quality paper (has to be thick paper) and placed the pictures around the frame. There is a type of glue that you put on top of the pictures and frame to make it glossy (like glass) and keeps them on the frame. Inside the frame I went to a special glass store in my area that put a sketched a nice poem on a mirror and placed flowers around the poem and made it look really nice.

I thought this was somethign pretty unique and relatively easy to do with a little work and effort.

I am looking for more ideas and things like this! Have you ever given your wife/S.O. something really unique?
 
victoriassecret... but i hate valentines day.. i buy gifts year round.. and i love my girl year round, not just on one day.
 
I got some relaxing scented bubble bath and scented candles. Gonna make a bath for my wife tonight and let her soak and relax with soft music playing.

She's pregnant and has basically had morning sickness 24/7 so I'm hoping this will make her feel better.
