Hi all,
I don't tend to create new threads much but I am (perhaps not so..) surprised that no one posted anyting relating to the resurrection of the Vaio Z brand, with two products already available in Japan.

Basically, a laptop with a lid that can be manipulated into a tablet mode - (and the screen then rotates in portraid/landscape mode as you turn it). Promising great battery life, decent speed (though I'm surprised at the dual core choice) and fairly light weight.
I'm not as excited about the Canvas product.
I think it'll take some time before these make it to North America/Europe though apparently some are using a store online that buys Japanese products, ships them to a Japanese address, which then ships to you, to get their hands on these products.
I'm glad that the Vaio Z brand isn't yet dead.
