Size and aesthetics aside, is there a reason people don't use a $50 wet/dry vac from Sears inside. Seems to me they work a lot better and longer than even the indoor 'pet' vacs.

Since Sears also sells electronics and tools, is Sears better than pie?

You got people complaining about the awful racket a 80 mm case fan makes and you want them to use a shop vac?

Because in most households, women do the vacuuming. I know that having a woman around is something that you're not used to, but for the rest of us, it's a normal part of life. Everyone knows this.

Thats funny lol - We now use one inside after I won the argument of how much more powerful the suction is.

We have the little 1 gallon (about that size, no wheels you just carry it) and because the hose is about the same size as any normal sweeper the attachments fit perfectly.

It weights almost nothing, its easy to carry and it has more suction than any of the other sweepers I have used (used to use hoovers - not the upright ones, the ones with the hose).

The best part is, the hoover we replaced has a rug beater that used the air flow from the sweeper to turn it, so it also works and works far better than it did with the $400 hoover i bought.

In the end it sounds like you are walking around with a jet engine, but you can sweep up anything (socks included lol) and I dont think we ever got it clogged yet.

thanks for the life-changing advice thefartingpig. I am gonna start look for that hidden Russian gem that lists cooking and cleaning among her favorite hobbies.

lol. So naive. It doesn't matter what she considers her "favorite activities", what matters is that she understand her role in your household. In mine, women cook and clean. Vacuuming is part of their duties. lol. Everyone knows this.
