Well, what did you expect? It is Mississippi you are talking about here. The state motto should be "Collective IQ is entirely indicative of future expected non-performance". Of course, that is a lot of big words... 🙂

Exactly. Half of the people in MS couldn't understand it. I think a better moto would be: "Mississippi: Making the other states feel better about themselves since 1817."
 
My county says its less than 50% vaccinated. What's odd around here though is that all the stores and places posted signs that say if you are vaccinated you can come/in without a mask. Since the signs went up, nobody has gone into a store with a mask. I haven't seen a single person with a mask since then, so clearly nobody cares/is scared of Covid. But Covid rates have not increased.

Judging by the grocery store, I'd say the vaccination rate here is about 95%. Lol.

Overall it's high, rates are extremely low, and the few cases there are are among the unvaccinated.

Pretty much every death at this point is avoidable and should be nominated for a Darwin award.
