Looking to book vacation November 20-30.
Wants somewhere warm, about 80-85 degrees, sunny, with nice beaches. Preferably less than 10 hours flight time for NYC.
$$$ is secondary to above priorities...

Have already been to Cancun, Jamaica, Bahamas, Florida keys, Greek islands...

Any suggestions?

Edit: Going with the GF, so air on the romantic side.

Additional information:

GF hates cruises and we must stay in 4/5 star hotel

UPDATE! see below

Cozumel and Playa Del Sol in Mexico are very nice. I went on a cruise and we stopped there. I'm gonna go back just to those places.

Cayman Islands. I can recommend you a spot on Little Cayman (the smallest of the three islands) if money isn't much of a concern. Absolutely beautiful place to stay.

has anyone ever seen a map with weather information for central america + carribean + south america for November... we don't want to go to a place that its the low 70's...

Also, scuba diving and/or water sports not a priority.

Well, considering you're going to an area near the equator...I'd imagine quite temperate weather, no?

Yea, you would think so, but the last thing we want is low 70's and windy

St John...

Go to St John (one of the Virgin Islands)

I think it's easier there to get away from the touristy part, much more scenic. (not over developed, most of the island is protected by national park)

basic info

I was in Cozumel and those areas from Nov 4 - 11 and temps were in the 80's

Never been there.

I'm of the opinion, though, that if you can find a wonderful spot and not have to fly the extra miles, why fly the extra miles?

Any way to talk you in to a 13-15 hour flight?

Wife and I went to Fiji 2 years ago and it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

For comparison purposes, I've been to about 65% of the main islands in the caribbean, venezeula, honduras, and many of the resort towns in Mexico.

*EDIT - We were there in November. A tad humid, but nothing you couldn't forget by looking at everything :). I'll post some pics if I remember tonight.

Try Belize, Costa Rica, Huatulco (Mexico), or Hawaii.

If you don't mind long trips, how 'bout Australia. I hear the Barrier Reef is fantastic, and it'd just about be summer by then.

Belize is awesome for snorkeling. I'm going to St. Thomas in July, lots of good deals available and it's a beautiful island.
