Thats stupid! LoL Why the hell does the world need a v8 chain saw? haha

Looks dangerous. Plus it takes 2 people to use it instead of one and it doesn't look like it saved that much time.

I have no idea why the hell ESPN shows this stuff, but occasionally I see some Skill woodsports competition and the chainsaws they use take quite a bit longer to cut through a log.

But it's not really about efficiency, they did it for the sake of doing it. On candlepower forums some guy built a 37 million candlepower spotlight. You can get a 15 million candlepower light at Costco for $25. This guy spent $2000 making a light that was 2.5 times as bright. He spent several hundred just on batteries. He did it for the sake of doing it.

Nothing wrong with that.

Those "15MCP" lights are far less beam candlepower than the mfr claims. If the home made light really is 37MCP, it's more like about 20x brighter. :Q
