Hello!
My question is which videocard to get...
I can't affored a 64MB RADEON nore GEFORCE2 GTS.

I want a better 2D quality as i see the 2D quality of the current nVIDIA videocard in my system is not very good.
I care a LOT about image quality and i want the best!
I want speed and clear crisp image of both 2D/3D!

If i buy the ASUS GefOrce the quality would probably remain the same as my TNT2 M64 accept i would have Videon in/out and 3d galsses...
the 32MB RADEON doesn't have those.
What should i do?
Does the DELUXE version worth it over the RADEON?

My other quastion is weather i should by the 32MB DDR over the 32MB SDR version of the RADEON, and if can have a greater boost of performance with the DDR version of RADEON over the SDR with my current processor : Intel Pentium III 533MHz KATMAI... (B)

I have to say Those card cost a lot in israel as the prices here are in the sky..
I could buy 2 RADEON cards at the USA with the money i have to spend on 1 RADEON card in Israel!

This is an important decision and i want to make the RIGHT one!

Thank for your time and help!, and sorry for my english.

i has a v6800 and well the 2d quality isn't that good. It doesnt have the greatest looking out put either. If you wanna save money get a voodoo3 3500, or get a radeon 64mb vivo if you can afford it (its around $250 here) maybe you can get someone in forsale/trade like hawk to send you one internationally.

The Asus 6800 Dlx is a lousy overclocker as well. The HS/F that Asus uses will drive you crazy as well (random spin-ups/spin-downs, grinding noises, pitifully small).

So why not put a different heatsink and fan on it?

Except the drivers.

5th driver release now and one more expected with the release of DX8. So far they've gotten their act together.

Yeah you know I am really dissappointed in ati

I am sort of pissed that they don't have to release 30 driver sets in a month to get the card stable, instead they only have to release two to get it stable and with decent framrates, what are they thinking?

Also I am upset that they don't leak unfinsihed drivers, I really like hosing my configuration and wish I could do it more often with software and drivers that haven't fully been tested
