I thought that the difference was that the V60c worked on Nextel's proprietary network, while the V60i worked on the standard networks?

v60c is cdma (the original v60)

v60i is all sorts of things, depending on your carrier.

at least i think...

AT&T originally had the V60c, which i owned. I traded it in for a V60i, when my antenna broke.

Same phone w/ interchangeable faceplates. Somehow, i did get better reception w/ the V60i, though.

I thought ATT used the V60t for TDMA.

I've got a V60c right now and have gone through 3 antennas :| Twice broken by me an once by my kid.

v60c: 200 entires phone book, no changeable faceplates, old style antenna

v60i: 500 entries phone book, changeable faceplates, new style antenna

There is also a new phone which is coming out pretty soon, v60x. It has all the features of v60i plus 1x CDMA (high speed built-in modem)

hmmm, maybe it was the "t". the antenna was a cheap POS, though.
