I am unable to get 32-bit color in a couple games I am running right now.

Midtown Madness 2 (Direct X)
Unreal Tournament (Glide)

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thank You. That explains UT. Is the MM2 problem related to DirectX? I have DirectX 7.0a.

I believe it possible to get any and all of your games to run at 32 bit color under a voodoo5. In UT, reselect Glide. However, in your 3dfx tools, check the box under the openGL/glide bar that reads "force 32bpp rendering". This will force any game to run in 32 bit color. I use this in everquest (16 bit only game), and it works flawlessly. And it runs faster than picking d3d and then selecting 32 bit.

NFS4: How do you know that? I read the readme, booklet and searched the M$ website. I didn't see anything about it anywhere. Seems weird to me that a game coming out now would not support it, especially since it uses Direct 3D.

Have you played an MS game with 32bit color support? I haven't.
