Hi!

I got V5 but do not see any possibilities to control the LOD level in the 3dfx tools. Same for overclocking. How can I get those controls?
Should the AGP be 1x, 2x or 4x with V5, what is the best?
Thanks.

Go the "3dfx Advanced Features" tab of your driver control panel. In the window you'll see a Windows Explorer browsing interface. Just click on the '+' next to Direct 3D and OpenGL to display all of the options. Both sections have a "Level Of Detail Bias" setting.

If 3dfxgamers is still up, go there and do a search for "overclocking". You'll be directed to the program which enables the overclocking tab in the driver interface.

The V5 only really supports AGP x 1. It makes no difference what settings you use.

You need newer drivers for the LOD control. I recommend 1.04. Also, you need to download the overclocking utility. I know you could get it from 3dfxgamers, but don't know if that is still up. As far as the AGP setting, in the new drivers, you have the choice of 1x and 2x. I saw a slight performance increase when changing it to 2x, so I would use that one.
