V3 drivers won't install on my Velocity!!

Ever since I bought this card, I've used one version or another of the V3 drivers, and it's worked fine. Back a month or 2 ago, I d/l a beta driver and tried to install, and I've been screwed ever since. I can still install the version from March of this year w/ no problem, but any drivers after that hang during installation. I've tried everything short of removing the card and actually putting in a V3 that I have to get it to work. It starts the install, gets to where the loader should come up w/ the liscence agreement, and it never brings it up. The setup.exe will not run manually, and I've even tried to load the drivers manually from the temp file where the get unpacked, which of course doesn't give you the 3dfx tools. Any suggestions?
