Can you fit a 120x38 fan in the front? I'd like to replace the stock fans with something that blows a little more air. I don't mind the extra noise. TIA.

YES. There's plenty of room in the front. (I assume you mean the HDD cooling fan) I have a 1200 which has the same architecture. However, the stock fans only push about 40 cfm, and you can more than double that with a 120 x 25mm if you want. I use thermaltake smart fans with the jumper on. They max at 93 cfm. They don't make any excessive noise, but if you want you can throw in an ultra high performance fan. There's room. I plan to partition off the mobo space with a plexi wall, and use 2 120s to suck air from all of the front holes, around the drives and cool the mobo. That's an advantage of all the holes on the front. Just filter the fans, and seal around them.

yes you can i did it on my v1000..like vertiggo the holes on the front help out on that.....
