I posted this in a few other threads but wasn't sure it would get noticed so I put it in its own thread. Check out the bottom of the last page of the CompUSA ad listed here. It lists the VTech ultra-compact cordless phone for $79.99 - $30 rebate = $49.99. It's the same phone Office Depot is selling for $49.66. So you buy the phone plus a pencil at OD to bring your total over $50, use the $15 off $50 coupon, send in the $30 MIR (As long as it's not CompUSA specific; even if it is there are ways around that), and you wind up with that phone for $5 after rebate!

Got a link for the v-tech phone rebate? Would be a sweet deal IF it's not compusa specific for the rebate

Better yet, if you can't get a link for the rebate coupon - I'm going to my local dumpy compusa this weekend - I'll snag a rebate coupon in the store and scan it in...

Couldn't find a rebate online, I have a feeling it might be CompUSA specific. If you could scan a copy that'd be cool. Although if you wanted to pull off the $5 after rebate price you might have to go into the store to buy/return the phone for the receipt anyways, so you'd wind up picking up the rebate form there (Unless you order online and return at B&M - risky proposition)

Want less risky take OD ad to CompUSA and do a PM. Or better yet have Staples do PM. And use code 15 off 50 cost ya a buck more NO RISK !

great deal :)
but be weary with vtech phones
they're complete crap. I've gone through three of them and finally just bought a panasonic
the vtech phone that had caller id that i purchased weighed over a pound and was just a horrible phone.
