I am looking for a 2 line phone and found V-Tech 2910C 900MHz Digital priced at 80-20 rebate-25 coupon=35. I cannot find a better deal for a 2 line phone. But what about quality? Someone I know commented that V-Tech phones are sub-standard in voice quality. Does anyone own this model 2910C?

Yep, bought the same phone using the same deal you did. Great phone. Over the years I've used Sony, Panasonic, AT&T, GE, and VTech and the Vtech is the best I've ever used, IMO.

If you live in a Fry's area, they have an excellent Sony 2-line phone on discount for ~$40 -- it was about $130 when I bought it (16-18 months ago...)

Good phone. The pc board appears to be manufactured by V-Tech, BTW...

It's a good phone, but if I had the chance to get a SOny at the same price, I'd definitely get the SOny. The only complaint I have with the V-Tech (I have this exact model), is that the channel button doesn't make a difference like it does with my SOny or Toshiba. With the V-Tech, if there's static, there will most likely be static throughout the entire conversation, with the Sonys and Toshibas, the channel button eliminates almost all the static.

Thanks folks for your advice. I will check Sony phones first. And if they are too pricey, I will buy the V-Tech phone.

got this phone and it's a good one, have had it for approximately 2 years, but agree with dmbsuperfan in regards to the channel selector.
