V doesn't make sense

For us yes but for lizards from outerspace 😉 Yummy

Also think of the foresight of those lizards no one realized they were snatching up humans yet had they killed one cow you know that PETA would have been all over their ass.

I would think we might not be very nutritous but if they are just looking for calories, then I think most would be great for that. And if they picked the US, then the meat would be tender too, since most don't get any excersise.

I don't think the point was to eat humans per se, although the ocassional human treat would be mighty tasty. I think we were trying to make you into a race of slaves that we could use grow us an endless supply of hamsters and guinea pigs to eat. I mean they were.

Huh? I thought the aliens in V came to conquer earth and use it for its natural resources due to their own planet being depleted or destroyed? I don't remember them eating humans. They ate rats, though. A lot.

It was made for TV in the 80's, you think they would show that? But they were storing humans on the ships for transportation back home and later consumption.

As the top of the food chain our meat is likely very nutrient dense, in fact moreso than most other animals. Most predators/carnivores have very nutrient dense meat, they just taste nasty to those of us that only eat herbivores.

I remember stealing water. I don't remember the storage on ships. Was it ever explained what they were doing? could it have been slavery? It had a lot of analogies to nazi times, seems like they would take people to labor camps rather than eat them.

It was pretty much implied that humans were lizard-food.

Whatever happened to that announced remake (or was it a continuation of the story?) of V? Is it still going to happen?
